2014 snow report: It’s been a magnificent year in terms of snowfall in Summit County. At the end of January we were 200% above normal. Neighboring Loveland Pass was at 185%, and Vail Pass was at 200%. This information comes directly from the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. The snow pack at Copper Mountain is the highest in 37 years.

So is it a good time to go skiing? I believe that would be a resounding, yes.
