April and May in Summit County, Colorado is a time of enjoying discounts and crowd-free atmosphere!

Is it too late to go skiing in Summit County? Heck no. You still got a good month of skiing left! Those who have talked to me on the phone about snow conditions have heard me say that my favorite time of the year to go snow skiing is April! Here is the snow report for Summit County, Colorado as of April 10, 2015:

Breckenridge – 65″ at base, closing April 19 (15 minute drive)
Keystone – 49″ at base, closing April 12 (6 minute drive)
Copper Mountain – 65″ at base, closing April 19 (10 minute drive)
Loveland – 55″ at base, May 3 (10 minute drive)
Arapahoe Basin – 43″ at base, closing June 21 (14 minute drive)

Our rates at the Ski Silverthorne Lodge in April drop to $199/night. You may have heard we were nearly booked solid for the months of Jan, Feb, and March, but we have plenty of availability for April and May.
